TeEM Challenge Results
First, I want to thank Cascade Mtn for having the guts to let a comp like this happen. It's the first true mixed team format I know of involving men and women with any combo of skier & snowboarder. We want to bring together the Midwest as community to show the coasts we have what it takes. I've known it was, and always will be, there.
Second, I want to thank Craig and Bill for being part of the judging staff and freezing up solid out on the hill all afternoon. You guys rule it!
The next group that deserves the biggest thanks is the riders that suited up and threw some serious effort on the rail garden. With a high of 0˚ we still saw progressive riding and were not disappointed with the skill levels shown across the field. We hope to see you all at the next few EneME comps and it can only be warmer!
There is select group that I would like to thank for letting me take the reigns of this animal and be able to keep it low key and competetive at the same time. Matt, Ryan, Brent, and Cindy. It may not seem like much but you all contibute to the freedom I have to run these comps in a way that, I hope, brings out the best in our little slice of Winter. Thank you.
Again, check you calendar and write in the dates for the EneME of the State and we'll see you gettin jibby!

Pauly

To All:
This is Brendt on behalf of Cascade... Thanks to Me Snow & Skate for having their stuff together when it comes to competitions. It makes things go a lot smoother, and it always helps me welcome them back for many more events into the future. Second, thank you to all the riders that day... with a high temp near -3, with windchill around -16, and a low close to -16, with windchill around -28, it took a lot to be on the hill for close to 41/2 hours. Even with bitterly cold temps, there were progressive hits thrown, and good sportsmanship all day long. Thanks guys, keep coming back! I am very happy to say that Me Snow & Skate has become one of Cascade Mountain's favorites to work with. The local riders here are starting to take notice, and the riders from the Chicagoland area that come up on behalf of Me Snow & Skate bring a new style and fun with them.It seems like this relationship could go a long way. Thanks to everyone for making this event, past events and future events something that we can all look forward to. See you in March!
